Elissa Mulrooney Coombs
Elissa has been practicing law for 14 years, and her practice is concentrated in the areas of admiralty and maritime law, insurance coverage issues, and the defense of insurance related litigation. Elissa received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University and her law degree from the University of Memphis School of Law where she served as an editor on the Law Review. Elissa has been certified as a Proctor in Admiralty by the Maritime Law Association of the United States and is admitted to practice in numerous United States District Courts and United States Courts of Appeals throughout the southeastern part of the country. Elissa is an adjunct professor at the University of Memphis School of Law where she teaches a course in admiralty and maritime law.
